Specious Arts is proud to present Tree, the second full length album from composer, Scott Thorough.

Building on his acclaimed 2019 release Bird, Tree finds Scott in similar meditative territory with a newfound focus and cohesion, allowing for more expansive compositions and a richer sonic palette.

Of the album, Scott says “tree is basically about losing one’s mind and regaining it during a global pandemic, and reconciling my mortality within a deteriorating world. Decay and birth. The music is a sonic diary of me figuring out how to exist in these difficult times.”

Tree is available on limited edition cassette and all digital platforms. Additionally, Scott has prepared modified versions of two pieces, both mixed in mono, for a short run of picture disc Lathe Cut 45s available as a set with the full cassette release, or separately. They’ll be gone fast.
